By default, ClickFunnels does not implement auto-fill in their order forms. Without auto-fill, the visitor will have to spend more time filling out the order form making your funnel prone to sales drop at the conversion stage.
Update
If your payment gateway is Stripe, check out this guide on enabling one-click checkout.
What is Chrome’s auto-fill, don’t browsers automatically do that already?
The standard auto-fill browsers have, try to fill forms based on past fills and most of the time it screws up the matching, resulting in an incorrect fill. Chrome introduced a bettery way couple of years ago.
Setting it up
Copy the code below
Quickly copy from here
Paste
You can chose to paste this funnel wide or page wise.
Setting it up funnel wide
I recommend this as it’s a set it and forget method. When you’re inside funnel’s edit screen, navigate to “Settings”
Paste the code inside “Body Tracking Code”
Don’t forget to save, you can find the “Save And Update Settings” in bottom of the page (need bit of scrolling)
Per page set up
If you prefer not to set up the script throughout your entire funnel, you can only make sure certain pages are having autofill enabled. Ideally, this should be the order form.
Go to “Tracking Code”
Paste the code in “Footer Code”
Close the popup and save the page.
Thank you so much for this! I was disappointed that Clickfunnels didn’t have this option already integrated into its pages, so this is a life saver! 🙂
No problem! Agree with you, this should be in CF
Awesome! I lost a customer because the auto-fill did not come up. Thank you so much for the post, it’s just what I needed. Nowadays, if you don’t have auto-fill, clients will leave because they just don’t have the patience to fill out forms.
Great idea, will test it out thanks!
Gold! Thanks
