In ClickFunnel’s membership site the lesson access is determined based on customer’s email. If a customer uses two different emails to place the order and to sign up for the member’s area, they are not going to be happy when they sign in. The below script I am sharing is a simple drop-in script which makes sure that the customer can only register using the email that they’ve used to place the order.
Step #1 – Set up the code on order page
Set up the below code as a “Tracking Code” in order page. Refer to this guide if you’re not familiar with tracking code setup. This script capture customer’s input into cookies (except credit card details)
Step #2 – Set up the code on member sign up page
Below code goes in “Membership Access” funnel step’s tracking code.
This script access the cookie data and populate the email field with the order’s email and make it read-only so the customer can’t edit it.
